What do we have for breakfast in the United Kingdom?

A slice toast with marmalade

The British eat breakfast between 7.00 and 9.00 o’clock in the morning.

From seven o'clock to nine o'clock

The typical English breakfast is likely to be a bowl of cereal, a slice toast with butter, marmalade or strawberry jam, an orange juice and a cup of tea or coffee.

Many people, especially children, in England eat milk with cereal (the most common are cornflakes). However, in winter many people will eat “porridge".

Furthermore, the British also have the traditional English breakfast. But, what is exactly the traditional English breakfast? The traditional English breakfast is called the “Full English” and it consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, baked* beans and mushrooms. The “Full English” breakfast is traditionally served at breakfast time, but is also popular at other times, usually replacing lunch. People don’t eat it very often now.

Tea is a popular and traditional drink with breakfast. The English always drink tea in their breakfast time
